Come in and harness your inner "Bob the Builder and help MS Students build Gingerbread houses to test structural integrity in the face of earthquakes! Enjoy holiday cheer and help our students learn about the effects of seismic shifts to man made structures.
Parent Volunteers on December 12th will be setting up supplies for the building the following week.
Parent Volunteers, on December 15th and 16th we will build the base of our gingerbread houses out of graham crackers. Parents will pass out materials, help students build their houses, and clean up and put materials away. We will need two volunteers for each time period.
On December 17th and 18th, we will decorate our gingerbread houses and then test them on an earthquake table to see if they survive. Parents will need to help set up materials, pass out materials, clean and put away materials when finished. We will need six volunteers for each time period. Thank you for all your support!
